Clifton Hall by Architectural Resources

Design Brief

Project Location: Buffalo, NY

The A|r team partnered with the Albright Knox to reimagine E.B. Green designed Clifton Hall as an inviting collaborative workplace environment that encourages interaction and reflects the culture of the institution.

A variety of program spaces have been designed to meet all of AK’s administrative needs. The innovative redesign includes open and inspiring meeting spaces, offices, and an alluring central café for staff and visitors. The sensitive renovation pays homage to the original character defining details of the building, enhances the prominent entry and natural light-filled atrium and provides dynamic furnishings and playful colors to animate the interiors.

The landscape design includes a gently sloped curvilinear walkway with gentle lighting that provides universal accessibility and enhances the landscape both day and night.
