Project Location: Lake Placid, NY
The NYS Olympic Regional Development Authority invited Architectural Resources to to identify and rehabilitate necessary upgrades and replacements to Lake Placid’s Ski Jump Complex. The scope of this effort is separated into a replacement of the curtain wall and windows for the K120 and K90 jumps, and replacing the elevator system within the K120 jump. Rehabilitation of the elevator system included coordination with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to bring the original equipment up to code compliance. A|r also used 3D scanning to measure and better understand the scope within such a unique structure.
