The New Welcome Center at SUNY Oneonta, at the head of the academic mall, invites new students and new alumni to experience the rich tradition of SUNY Oneonta, as they pass between the original “Old Main” pillars to approach the new prominent center. Together with our partners PDR|P, A|r worked to engage the culture and tradition of the school to develop a design that is both appropriate and inspiring in its setting. With its beaconing illuminated mass and prominent hilltop position, the new Welcome Center has become a source of pride for current students, faculty and staff.
