Our WorkThe Rails

The Rails Interior Design by Architectural Resources

Design Brief

Project Location: Buffalo, NY

The Rails is a new 323-unit apartment building designed for a former brownfield site on Buffalo’s Main Street. The residence will offer an extensive array of amenities including a gaming/virtual reality room, rooftop dog park, pool and fitness center, and club house. The design features two volumes that emerge from a central spine to create a split facade facing the street, allowing for a spacious central lounge for tenants and a glass-faced commercial space along the street level. Adjacent to the building entry, an inviting community terrace enlivens the streetscape and creates a sense of place along Main Street, contributing to the revitalization of Buffalo’s main corridor.
