“In every project at every scale is a lesson learned for the next endeavor towards developing normative, safe, and dignified Behavioral Healthcare environments.”
Andrew has been with Architectural Resources since 1999 and specializes in the design of behavioral and mental health facilities for both adults and children as well as products and construction techniques for secure environments. With a meticulous attention to detail, tackling the challenging balance between creating normative therapeutic places for healing with safe, secure, and durable environments is Andrew’s area of expertise. Drawing from varied experiences of living and working internationally prior to focusing on a career in the US, the ability to introduce design concepts that challenge and enhance conventional design approaches is a key part of Andrew’s skill set. Having ushered projects through all stages from inception through construction, Andrew has served as designer, project architect, and project manager on several projects. Active in sustainability projects since his university studies, Andrew became LEED AP certified in 2009 with both individual and campus approach projects achieving LEED Silver in his portfolio.
