January is the month of resolutions, revelations, and new beginnings. This January we celebrate Design Thinking.

It’s 2021! We’ve finally made it.
We’ve spent nearly a year working remotely, at full steam, supporting our clients with design solutions that are more critical than ever to navigate their workspace, shape the healthcare environment and reinvent (again) what the classroom can and should provide.

Our cities may have gone quiet these past months, but this time of stillness is a mere nano-second in the lifetime of our great historic places.

There is no placemaking without people. As we move together toward a post-covid era, what new factors will impact our sense of place? The tools of placemaking were important before, and now they are crucial to how we experience our environment.

We know that a learning experience has as much to do with our environment as it does the teachers and students that create those experiences. After the past year, we have all gained a profound appreciation of how important these are to foster development and ignite a love for learning.
