Our great waterways create a sense of place and connect us to the industrial heritage of our region. We have teamed with community stakeholders to build inviting civic spaces and bolster community engagement within these important spaces. A|r has collaborated on waterfront revitalization projects that provide new ways to experience our industrial heritage and impact how we connect to our environment and one another.

Past master planning, renewal, and project management efforts have led to barrier-free interpretive and recreation facilities that will enhance the health of our waterways and strengthen the community’s connection to the water for generations.

We are currently collaborating on a shoreline project on the Buffalo River that will create a welcoming destination for recreation – on shore or by paddle – where visitors can gather, learn, and reflect. We believe revitalized waterways and public places like these will have a lasting impact on our natural habitats and our city. This project will strengthen our connections with each other, celebrate our waterways and inspire the next chapter in our history. Stay tuned for details!
